NEXUS OBTAINS PRELIMINARY FEDERAL APPROVAL

Nexus Pipeline Company has achieved an initial step in the federal approval process to construct a new natural gas pipeline from Ohio through Washtenaw, Lenawee, and Monroe Counties.

In order to construct an interstate pipeline, a pipeline company must clear a number of regulatory hurdles.  This article describes Nexus doing just that as it relates to its proposed 36” natural gas pipeline.

I am currently representing a diverse group of property owners including farmers, industrial property owners, and homeowners who have been contacted by Nexus.  My representation focuses upon minimizing the impact of the easement as much as possible while maximizing the owners’ financial recovery.

To review a blog post the summarizes many pipeline taking issues, please click here.

If you have been contacted by a pipeline company, including Nexus, Rover, or Wolverine (all of whom I have dealt with this year) about a new pipeline, please feel free to contact me.
