ITC is seeking expanded vegetation management rights along a transmission line running through Oakland and Macomb Counties.
I recently noted that ITC had issued a good faith offer for a property in Shelby Township. I have now learned that ITC has also made a good faith offer for a property in Rochester Hills. Both properties are along the same transmission line, called the Adams Spokane Line. The line will have a significant impact on a wide variety of properties, ranging from commercial to residential.
On one clients’ property, ITC is expanding its rights from being able to trim trees to keep them 12 feet from the lines to clearcutting everything in the backyard and half of the side yards.
